 Dear deb,
Here is a picture of Tigger with my oldest Alexis. Tigger has become a great addition to our family. I haven't had a small dog since 1997 and I had forgotten how much you can love a small dog. When I decided I wanted a mini dachshund I told my mom that would make a great christmas present. My dad said where can we get a good mini dachshund from? I said I know you can get them Dickson small breed puppies. So we went and looked and picked out Tigger before we left. I am so happy I got a dog from deb. My mom wants one now and I told her you have to get a dickson puppy. It will be the best puppy you ever get. Thanks again deb for blessing our family with Tigger. I wasn't sure if I could love another dog after I lost my two English Springer Spaniels and boy was I wrong.

Here Lou Lou is with her new family! I continue to hear that she is the perfect pet for our family, and my kids thank me nearly every day for bringing her home! She has been a fabulous addition to our family and is loved by everyone! My kids also think about what would have happened to her if she would have gone home with the original person who had a down payment on her. Of course they don't think that that person could have possibly loved her as much as the 7 of us, and I agree! Lou Lou has slumber parties with us, watches TV with us, does car pool with us, and just recently passed her AKC puppy class with flying colors! She was the littlest dog in her class of 10, but beat every other dog when it came to the "recall" challenge! The owners had to leave their dogs on one end of the gym and walk to the other where we were then asked to call our dogs. Lou Lou made a bee line to me every single time! What a good girl! Thank you for raising such a loving sweet puppy! We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family! The 7 Schrecks

Dear Deb,
“Beau” came to live at our house last February...a gift I gave myself for Valentine’s Day! My son and daughter-in-law chose him from your selection of Shih Tzu pups. He is absolutely my pride and joy! I can hardly wait to get home after a day at work, to be greeted by his “happy dance.” He is the perfect size...about 8 lbs. and is so very smart! He just traveled with us to Arizona for Thanksgiving and was no trouble at all. He attracted all sorts of dog lovers in the airports and never fussed a bit in his canvas carrier!
Beau just celebrated his first birthday, (November 30) which prompted me to send you a thank you for raising such wonderful dogs. Michael and Sarah couldn’t believe what an awesome kennel you operate, and what an assortment of pups you had available. The cleanliness and way the pups responded to you in the barn amazed them. I really hadn’t intended to get a puppy until spring, but after seeing pictures of “Lance”, I couldn’t resist. Training him was a bit difficult that time of year. I tried using potty pads, but after 6 weeks, we resorted to taking the little guy outside. From that point, life was good! He really never seemed to “get” the potty pad method.
I’ve attached a picture I took recently for our Christmas card...he is the “bright” spot in our year!

"I am the proud "MOM" :-) of a long-haired, red miniature dachshund from Deb. I contacted her in October, requesting information on her miniature dachshunds. I was looking for a long-hair and had heard of her, but had never met her or purchased a pup before. She invited me out to take a look at the pups she had, and I have to say, I was impressed. Deb's love and expertise of her dogs was very evident shortly after walking in the door. I was amazed at how well-behaved and obedient they were, and how attached the puppies were to her.
I left that first night without a pup because I had my heart set on a long-hair, which she didn't have at that time. We kept in contact over the next couple months, because she had a long-haired dachshund that was expecting. My weekly visits began on Dec. 11, after I learned that my pup had been born on Dec. 5. Deb was very welcoming and accommodating whenever I wanted to visit, even though I teased her that she would be sick of me by the time I got to bring my baby home. The "big day" finally arrived on Feb. 1, and I went to pick up our new addition. When I arrived, a lady who had bought a pup from Deb 15 years ago was there to take home another pup, since hers had died in December. It was very obvious the trust and admiration she and her daughter both had for Deb.
I have nothing but good things to say about Deb and her kennel, and feel privileged that she trusted me enough to let me have one of her babies. I know it is not something she takes lightly."

"I just wanted to thank you again for letting us adopt Marcus. (yes, we kept the name you gave him) We are ‘all’ totally bonded, can you tell? Toula, our mini-doxie thinks he is her long lost brother. They play together all the time and snuggle when it is time to sleep. Lucky, our older almost 10-year-old yorkie, is just glad they both play and leave him alone. lol
He is indeed a good little boy, just as you said, a real sweetheart, and has fit into our family quite nicely. He sleeps all night, and potty training is going well too! It is “monkey see, monkey do, watching the other two and then following their lead – in everything they do.

"My husband & I would like to thank you for the wonderful Dachshund puppy that we recently bought form you. He has been such a joy for us. He is spunky and full of life. There is never a dull moment with him around. He keeps our older Dachshund (Max) on the go all the time by keeping him so active.
When we take the puppy camping we are stopped all the time for people can look at (Tanner) the new puppy. They marvel over the fact that he is gold and will comment on how they have never seen one in that color. We give them your name.
