The puppy you have purchased from Dickson Small Breed Pups, Inc. is guaranteed to be healthy to the best of my knowledge at this time. The pup is current on vaccinations and worming and a record of this information is provided to you. It is the responsibility of the buyer to continue these vaccinations in a timely manner as set forth by your vet.
Proof of these vaccinations must be kept in order for this contract to be valid. The buyer is responsible for any and all veterinary expenses after delivery of the puppy.
The buyer must have the puppy examined by their own veterinarian within the first 48 hours after delivery. If the puppy is found to have a congenital or hereditary defect that is life threatening or cannot be realistically repaired, requires euthanasia or ongoing medical therapy and a significant loss of quality of life then seller will pay for the puppy to be examined by her veterinarian and if the conclusions are the same, the puppy must be returned to Dickson Small Breed Pups, Inc. at buyers’ expense, and a replacement puppy, same gender, same breed, same value, will be given as soon as possible. No cash refunds are ever given.
The conditions of hypoglycemia, guardia and coccidiosis are not covered under this warranty. Also the presence of an umbilical or inguinal hernia, wall eyed, color, size, and behaviors of puppy, are not reasons for the return or replacement of puppy and are not covered under this guarantee.
Dickson Small Breed Pups, Inc. also guarantees this puppy for a period of two years from the date of birth against any congenital or hereditary disorder that would shorten the life of the puppy or make it impossible for him to lead a normal life. A written statement from a veterinary clinic must be presented along with the return of the puppy and all associated registration paperwork. In the event of such an occurrence, the seller reserves the right to have the puppy examined by her vet. If the conclusions are the same, then a replacement puppy from the next available litter, same breed, same gender, same value, will be provided. If this puppy would die during the 2 year guarantee time period, the buyer is required to have an autopsy performed by a licensed veterinarian within 24 hours of death to determine exact cause of death. No exceptions. A written statement from the veterinarian explaining the exact cause of the puppy’s demise must be presented to the seller, Dickson Small Breed Pups, Inc. within 72 hours of the death. If buyer qualifies for a replacement puppy, then one will be provided as soon as possible. Same breed, same gender, same value. Again, no cash refunds are ever given.
This puppy is sold strictly as a family pet. No guarantees for breeding and show are provided. This puppy must also be spayed or neutered by the age of six months. If not spayed or neutered by six months of age then this guarantee is null and void.
AKC pups are sold on a limited registration. This means that the pup is eligible for all AKC shows except breed competition and the dog is not to be bred. APR registered puppies are also sold on a ‘no breed’ basis.
Dickson Small Breed Pups, Inc. requires a 200.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy. The balance is due at the time of delivery if buyer is picking up their new puppy on site. If the puppy is being shipped, then payment for puppy, in addition to all shipping costs, must be paid ten business days prior to shipping date. Remember, shipping costs are not included in the purchase price of the puppy. The cost of shipping is usually 300.00. This includes new airline approved travel crate, Vet Health exam, Vet heath certificate, Iams travel food with feeding and watering instructions while in flight and travel expenses to the airport for drop off. If the charges are different, the buyer will be notified.
Registration papers and vaccination records, a puppy pack, a special toy and added information will be mailed a couple days after shipment.
Payment can be made with approved check if local, cashier’s check, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover card. And yes, we still accept cash. Paypal is also accepted.
The puppy will have a physical examination a few days prior to shipment. If at that time the puppy is found to have issues that do not meet health standards as noted in this warranty, a replacement puppy of same breed, same sex as soon as possible, will be substituted. Buyer will be immediately notified.
By signing this guarantee/contract, I declare that I have read, understood and agree to its contents. As a buyer I accept full responsibility for this puppy from time of delivery and agree to do what is necessary to provide a long and healthy life for this dog.
